Our Gluten-free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Corn-Free cakes are designed to avoid ingredients that are known to cause digestive and other health problems like sugar alcohols, artificial sugars, gums, and artificial ingredients and artificial dyes.

With less than 5 grams of net carbs and less than 2 grams of sugar per slice, you can stay on a keto and low-carb diet. Made with more protein and fiber than most cakes on the market, you can not only enjoy this cake guilt-free, but you will also take in necessary nutrients too. Even the fat in our cakes are chosen with health in mind. In the batter, sweet almond oil is used instead of typical vegetable oil because its less inflammatory and contains beneficial omega-3 fatty acids.

Aside from these health benefits our cakes are surprisingly pleasant, soft, sponge-like, and lightly sweetened! A contrast to the crumbly texture of most commercially available gluten-free cakes.

Although we think we have a good product so far, we would like your input in finalizing the cake formula and frosting ingredients.

Currently, we have both a blanched almond butter based frosting and a more typical frosting (with and without palm oil) and would like to know which you like more. Mainly, are you ok with palm oil? There's not enough information out there about how it affects digestion.

About us:

We're a mother-daughter team that wants to change the way we cake. Due to a health problem, one of us couldn't have a birthday cake for several years. One birthday, we tried a new recipe that worked and tasted good. We've since tweaked the recipe to improve taste and texture just for you.

We've formulated these cakes especially for people who typically can't eat regular cakes. If you're on a low-carb diet, dairy-free, or you have to watch your sugar intake, these cakes are made especially for you. Each naked slice is about 4 grams of net carbs and frosting is only 1 to 2 grams more carbs per slice. We attempt to keep starches at a minimum and use only natural ingredients.

Our cakes are made without wheat or most grains, they are currently almond flour based. We use antibiotic-free eggs, sweet almond oil (healthier than vegetable oil), grade A vanilla beans (no alcohol), organic carrots and spring water. We're free from artificial sugars, sugar alcohols like: erythritol, maltitol, xylitol, etc. We are free from gums like guar gum, locust bean gum, xantham gum. Some people find sugar alcohols and gums to cause inflammation and digestive upsets especially for people with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Chron's Disease, so we steer clear from them. Sugar alcohols are further believed to negatively affect the gut microbiome, hence excluded in diets like FODMAPS and GAPS diet recommended by doctors for treatments of various ailments. We also exclude other known allergens like dairy, soy, and corn.
